Not all facials are the same, and not every skin concern calls for the same treatment. At Self Skin Studio, we offer five distinct facials, each designed with a specific purpose in mind. Whether you are dealing with congestion, puffiness, sun damage, dullness, or just want your skin to feel deeply refreshed, there is a right starting point for your skin.
Getting a facial every four to six weeks is one of the most consistent things you can do for your skin over time. When we are younger, our bodies naturally turn over skin cells every 20 to 24 days. As we age, that cycle slows to every 45 to 80 days. Regular facials support that renewal process, keep congestion from building up, and keep the skin looking and feeling healthy between treatments.
All of our facials begin with a full skin assessment. Your esthetician will review your concerns, assess your skin, and customize the treatment to what your skin actually needs that day. Here is a look at each option.
Signature Facial
Our Signature Facial is fully customized to your skin at the time of your appointment. There is no fixed formula. Your esthetician assesses your skin, listens to your goals, and builds the treatment around what needs the most attention, whether that is hydration, congestion, dullness, texture, redness, or early signs of aging.
Every Signature Facial includes a double cleanse, exfoliation, and a combination of masks, extractions if needed, high frequency, red or blue light therapy, cooling globes, and customized aftercare products. The specific combination changes appointment to appointment based on how your skin is presenting.
This is a good choice when you want your skin to feel thoroughly clean, refreshed, and cared for, or when you are not sure which more targeted treatment to start with. It is also the right choice if you are pregnant, as the Signature Facial is pregnancy safe.
Pricing: $140 / Members: $120
Fire and Ice Facial
The Fire and Ice Facial is a gentle resurfacing treatment that delivers two distinct phases in one session. The fire phase uses a warm mask with glycolic acid and vitamins to exfoliate, encourage cellular turnover, and soften the look of fine lines. The ice phase follows with a cooling, hydrating mask that drenches the skin in hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, calming any sensitivity and leaving the skin plump and refreshed.
The result is brighter, smoother skin with improved texture and a noticeable glow. There is no downtime, which makes it a popular choice before events. It is also pregnancy safe.
Pricing: $140 / Members: $120
Depuffing Facial
The Depuffing Facial is built around lymphatic drainage. It is designed for patients who regularly notice puffiness around the eyes and face, heaviness in the skin, or a generally tired look that hydration alone does not fix.
The treatment combines soothing massage techniques with gua sha and light pressure to move fluid and reduce congestion beneath the skin. Two hydrating masks support the skin throughout the session. By the end, most patients notice their face looks more defined, lighter, and noticeably less swollen.
This facial is best scheduled when you are well-hydrated. If you have allergies, taking an antihistamine before your appointment can make the experience more comfortable. Patients who are pregnant or have an autoimmune disorder should get clearance from their doctor before the lymphatic drainage portion of this treatment.
Pricing: $150 / Members: $100
Dermaplaning Facial
Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical steel scalpel to gently remove the surface layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair. It is a physical exfoliation treatment, not a chemical one, which makes it an option for patients who are sensitive to acids or active ingredients.
The treatment starts with a double cleanse and skin analysis, followed by the dermaplaning pass. An enzyme mask, extractions if needed, high frequency, a hydrating mask, light therapy, and cooling globes complete the session. The result is noticeably smoother skin, improved brightness, and better penetration of both in-office products and your at-home skincare routine. Makeup applies more evenly afterward as well.
Our esthetician Mary-Hannah is a certified DermaplanePro practitioner.
Dermaplaning does not remove coarse or thick facial hair, only fine peach fuzz. It is not appropriate for patients with active acne or who are currently on Accutane.
Pricing: $150 / Members: $135
Hydrafacial
Hydrafacial uses patented technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate the skin simultaneously. It is the only facial on our menu that uses a device rather than manual technique as the primary delivery mechanism, and that is what allows the serums to penetrate more deeply than standard application.
Every Hydrafacial at Self Skin Studio includes lymphatic drainage, a customized resurfacing step, painless vortex extractions, a booster serum chosen for your specific concerns, and red or blue light therapy. It is customizable for rosacea, sun damage, hydration, glow, and more.
Hydrafacial is a strong choice for congestion, dullness, dehydration, or when you want an immediate, visible refresh. It is not pregnancy safe due to the salicylic acid content.
Pricing: Face $225 / Members: $175 — Face and neck $250 / Members: $200 — Face, neck, and chest $300 / Members: $250
How to Choose the Right Facial
If you are not sure where to start, that is exactly what your first appointment is for. Our esthetician will take the time to review your skin, understand your goals, and point you toward the treatment that makes the most sense. You do not need to figure it out before you arrive.
You can schedule a facial here or learn more about our facial treatments. Members receive their Signature Facial and Fire and Ice Facial at no charge each month, making either of those a natural starting point for anyone considering membership.
